The organization played a pivotal role in championing the landmark 73rd Constitutional Amendment Act (1992), which conferred constitutional status upon Panchayats, and subsequently contributed to the establishment of the dedicated Ministry of Panchayati Raj in 2003—realizing the transformative vision of Mahatma Gandhi that had endured for generations.

Our organization remains steadfast in advocating for the constitutional rights and financial autonomy of Panchayats, catalyzing awareness and building institutional capacity at the grassroots level. The headquarters of AIPP is situated at Khasra No. 368, Panchayat Dham, Mayur Vihar Phase-1, Delhi – 110091, encompassing a dedicated campus of 7.5 acres designed for development, dialogue, and democratic empowerment of village institutions.
